MFT November Release Countdown Day 5

Hi everyone! Today is the first day of the My Favorite Things November release countdown. This release is packed with amazing new products! You’ll love them!

The new products will officially be available on the MFT online store on November 3rd at 10pm EST (= Europe: November 4th at 4:00 CET).

I’ve made 2 cards for Countdown Day 5.

For the first one, I used the newest Toasted Marshmallows Die-namics! This is a super fun set!  I made the background with the "smooching" technique. I used MFT dye inks: Tangy Orange, Orange Fizz and Daffodil that I smooched into the paper with water. I blended the marshmallows with some brown inks, I drew mouths and I glued googly eyes on top of them. So funny, aren’t they? I die-cut the panel with the Cross Stitch Rectangle STAX Die-namics. To finish off the card, I stamped the "Let’s Toast!" sentiment from the Get Toasty set with MFT Black Licorice dye ink multiple times with my MISTI tool.

For the second card, I used the SO CUTE Birdie Brown Toasty Greetings stamp set. Awwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!! I love these penguins! This time, no Copics… I colored the image with watercolors and inks! The sentiment is also from the same set. I added tiny blue and silver stars around the penguin. They are from the LLD Hip Clips and Blueprints 18 Die-namics sets. I applied a layer of glitter on the cap.

I love how you used the smooshing watercolor technique to create those adorable marshmallows! They are so cute with the little faces and googly-eyes added! The second card is just adorable because it's a penguin. However, it's made even better since it is a clean and simple card!
