My Favorite Things – January Release Replay

Hi everyone! It’s time for the My Favorite Things release replay! Today, the MFT design team is taking a fresh look at the most recent release.

My project is a pop-up box featuring the newest Birdie Brown Ewe Are the Best stamp and die sets:

I created my own template for this project. It’s a very small box that fits with the grassy hills from the Ewe Are the Best set (length = 2 ¾"; width 1 1/8"). I first made the box with MFT Sour Apple cardstock. I then decorated the outside panels with patterned paper from the Farm Fresh Gingham paper pack. Next, I made the sky background. I used the Stitched Cloud Edges as a stencil and sponged it over Smooth White cardstock with Distress inks (Tumbled Glass and Broken China). I stamped the images in black hybrid ink and colored them with Copic markers. I used the mirror stamping technique for the sheep on the left. The cute sun is form an older set called Things with Wings and the heart from the newest All heart set. I die cut all shapes with the coordinating dies and the mirror stamped sheep with scissors. Finally, I stamped the "Ewe are loved" sentiment on Smooth White cardstock and die cut it with a Stitched Circle STAX die.

To finish off my card, I attached all elements together with glue, Scor-tape and foam pads to create a cute little scene. I glued the heart on a transparent strip so that it looks like it floats in the air over the sheep.

So lovely! But it looks so difficult. Could you make a video with the box tutorial, please? Hugs!
