Gerda Steiner Designs New Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Gerda Steiner Designs Blog Hop! Today, the GSD team and guests are featuring two new stamp sets: Alien Invasion and Blast off. Make sure you hop around to all of the blogs featured in the link list at the bottom of this post. You’ll find lots of inspiration using the new products!

Here is my project using the Alien Invasion set:

I made a galaxy background using my Copic markers and an airbrush! I chose to use different colors than usually (you probably all know that I love galaxy backgrounds) but also a different technique (I already made galaxies with Distress inks or watercolors). I went for an orange, pink and purple outer space! There are so many shades on this background! It looks amazing in real life (because some areas are transparent and you can see the layers)! I knew that the background should become orange and purple but I had no idea what colors work best. I had no plan and I experimented a little bit but I’m super happy with the result. The sentiments from the set are so fun! I colored the alien and the UFO with Copic markers.
