MFT September Release Countdown Day 2

Hi everyone! Today is the fourth day of the My Favorite Things September release countdown. This release is packed with amazing new products! Isn’t it?

The new products will officially be available on the MFT online store on September 6th at 10pm EST (= Europe: September 7th at 4:00 CET).

Today, I’m showcasing the newest Tea Party Die-namics and Cup of Tea stamp set:

Rainbow colors… again! LOL First, I die cut the teapot and drew the outlines with a pencil on watercolor paper. I then colored the teapot with watercolors and Distress inks. Once it was dry, I die cut the BIG HELLO directly from the watercolored panel and I used the camouflaging die cuts technique (I didn’t want it too thick so I just die cut the HELLO one more time and inlaid these two layers). The beautiful patterned paper on the edges is from the newest Sweet Celebration paper pack. I heat embossed the sentiment on Gravel Gray cardstock with white embossing powder. I played with the words I found in the Cup of Tea set and I created this pun: Sweet-Tea insead of Sweetie. I added the hyphen with a white gel pen. Fun, isn’t it?

Swoon! Gorgeous watercoloring on your teapot, Francine! I also love how you used the camouflage die cutting technique with those fabulous alphas, and the striped papers on the border are the perfect touch!

Simply beautiful! I think I've pinned every card you've made in the last few months. I've purchased most of the dies, stamps paper and ink as well. Now that school has started its time for me to get to work and create some beautiful cards. Thank you for such wonderful ideas and inspiration.

There is no such thing as too much rainbow! The inlaid die technique works brilliantly against the watercoloured tea pot, and I love the pops of colour from the striped paper. Fantastic inspiration, thank you! Esther
