MFT January Release Countdown Day 5

Hi everyone! Today is the first day of the My Favorite Things January release countdown. This release is packed with amazing new products! You’ll love them!

The new products will officially be available on the MFT online store on January 10th at 9:00 pm EST (= Europe: January 11th at 3:00 am CET).

Today, I’m showcasing the newest Knight in Shining Armor set:

I created a scene for the super cute knight and his castle. I colored them with Copic markers and cut them out with scissors (but there are also coordinating dies if you prefer). I created the grassy hills by myself. I sketched a landscape and colored it with Copics. I sponged the sky with Distress inks using the Stitched Cloud Edges Die-namics as a mask. I fixed the images with foam pads to the background for more dimension and I adhered the scene to a top-folded card base made from Tropical Teal prestige cardstock. As I needed a birthday card for my godson, I added a birthday sentiment from the newest Once upon a Time set. I hope he will like this card.

For today’s full product reveal, links to other fabulous projects from the MFT design team and AWESOME GIVEAWAYS, be sure to check out the MFT blog

Thanks so much for stopping by and see you tomorrow for more countdown fun!

Gorgeous landscape, Francine! I'm so impressed that you sketch it by hand! Beautiful coloring on these darling images, too! I would love to know how you get your clouds to look so perfect...Is there any chance you could create a video tutorial for us in the future?
