My Favorite Things – Valentine Tags

Hi everyone! Welcome to this month’s Creative Construction with Blueprints!

This time we are showcasing Valentine-themed tags using Tag Builders Blueprints. Here is what I came up with:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked in the link-up tool at the bottom of this post. For the base of my two tags, I used the Tag Builder Blueprints 1. I created two scenes with blue shades: it doesn’t always need to be pink or red for a Valentine-themed card or tag! For the first one, I chose patterned paper from the Dots & Stripes Fresh paper pack for the background and for the second, I made a cloudy sky using the Stitched Cloud Edges as a stencil and sponged it with Distress ink. The cute cat is from the Birdie Brown Cool Cat set. The umbrella and the two sentiments are from the All Heart set. I also use the newest Cloud 9 Die-namics set. I love them. They are perfect for any scene. The grassy border is from the Grassy Edges Die-namics set and the tiny hearts from the Tag Builder Blueprints 5 and 6. I die cut them from Wild Cherry cardstock.

Head over to the MFT blog to check out what the rest of the design team has created!

Your tags are so cute, Francine! I love that you chose non-traditional colors for a Valentine theme, and of course, your Copic coloring and ink blending are just beautiful!
