MFT January Release Countdown Day 4

Hi everyone! Today is the second day of the My Favorite Things January release countdown. This release is packed with amazing new products and I hope you’ll have fun with our preview projects!

The new products will officially be available on the MFT online store on January 9th at 9:00 pm EST (= Europe: January 10th at 3:00 am CET).

Today, I’m showcasing the newest In Paris set:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. I went for a clean and simple scene using the house stamp from the set. I stamped the Eiffel Tower and the house several times at the bottom of a white card base using masking paper to create a city view of Paris. I first wanted to color the buildings but I then thought they would be better in black and white. The neutral background makes the hot air balloon stand out even more. I stamped the hot air balloon, colored the image in rainbow colors and cut it out. I fixed it to the card front using foam pads for more dimension. I used the "Bonjour" (Hello in French) sentiment from the set and stamped it next to the roofs.

For today’s full product reveal, links to other fabulous projects from the MFT design team and AWESOME GIVEAWAYS, be sure to check out the MFT blog

Really cute CAS design, Francine! Beautiful coloring on the hot air balloon and I love how you stamped the house and tower...so clever and fun!
That’s such a wonderful CAS card ! The only colored element is really a cool sketch (Sorry I don’t find the appropriate word, excuse my bad Frenchie English....)

Lovely card! I love how you colored the balloon in such bright, vivid colors and left the buildings alone.
