My Favorite Things | Stitched with Love

Hi everyone! Today, it’s all about cross-stitching and Valentine’s day cards! My Favorite Things has released a new (and free) Cross-Stitch Tag Heart Pattern template (you can find the patterns HERE) and the MFT design team was challenged to put this new pattern collection to use to create projects Stitched with Love.

Here is my project featuring the Cross-Stitch Tag Die

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. I chose to work with the heart pattern and decided to create a card instead of a tag. I started by die cutting the stitch-hole element from white cardstock. I first cross-stitched the white heart. I then did the rainbow lines. I used thick embroidery floss. Once it was one, I fixed the stitched panel to a white card base using foam adhesive, as well as for the sentiment. The "You & Me" sentiment is from the From the Heart stamp set. It really looks beautiful. I love the result!

Be sure to check the MFT blog for more inspiration from the design team and to watch the video tutorial!
