MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #508

Hi everyone! Welcome to this week’s MFT Sketch Challenge! Here is what I came up with:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. I started by sponging a purple circle to the front of a white card base. I used the Circle Extraordinaire stencil. I then die cut a circle shape using the A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. I sponged it with Distress inks using the Micro Cloud Edges stencil to add some clouds. I adhered the die-cut onto the ink blended circle with foam pads. Then sentiment is from the Ghostly Greeting stamp set. The owl, the clouds and the branch are from the Halloween Hoo stamp set. I stamped the images in black ink, colored them, cut them and fixed them to the card front with foam pads as shown. To finish off the card, I added three little stars (they were die cut from Pinapple cardstock using the Tag Builder Blueprints 6 Die-namics).

Here is the sketch #508 for this week’s challenge:

Your Next Stamp | Guest Spot & Giveaway!!!

Hi everyone! I’m so happy to collaborate with Your Next Stamp this year again! I shared a card yesterday and today is the second guest post. You can still enter the giveaway. Read more below!

For today’s card, I decided to work with the sweet Winter Unicorns Rock stamp set. Here is what I came up with:

I started by die cutting a rectangle from the Ripped Rectangles die set. I didn’t use the die cut but the negative area as a stencil. I fixed the self-made stencil over the front of a white card base and sponged Distress inks over it. I removed the stencil, stamped and colored the sweet unicorn and fixed it to the ink blended background with foam pads for more dimension. The stars are from the Confetti die. The sentiment is from the Winter Unicorns Rock too. This is the stamp set I've used:

YAY! It’s time for the My Favorite Things September product launch! All new products are available right now at the MFT store and the MFT design team, as well as special guests, are sharing projects created with the new stuff. You can find a lot of inspiration!

Here is my card featuring the newest Peace, Love & Paws stamp set:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. The cats and the dog are all from the Peace, Love & Paws stamp set. I only colored the cat to make it pops against the neutral background. For the card front, I used teal patterned paper from the Road Trippin’ paper pack. The stitched panel was die cut using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX. The tiny heart was die cut from Wild Cherry cardstock using the Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics.

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. I sponged some Distress inks to the front of my card base to create a little clean and simple Christmas scene. I cut the images with scissors but there are coordinating dies too. The tiny berries are from the Joyous Holiday stamp set. The speech bubble is from the Woof Pack stamp set and the Hello sentiment from the Cat-astrophe set. I grounded my card with a strip of patterned paper from the Petite Gingham paper pad
