Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine Special Thanks! Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to the Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine Special Thanks! blog hop.

So sorry that the Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine will cease publication after the February 2015 issue. Here is my card to say THANK YOU for all the inspiration during the past years! I wish you Jennifer, Susan, Holly, Stacy, Kerri and all of the other staff of the magazine, all the best for the future.  

I did a clean and simple card with bright colors in the background. The "Thank you so much" speech bubble is from the TAWS (The Alley Way Stamps) "Spell Check" stamp set! I made my own stencil using a finger knife to create a star splat silhouette. I sponged the stencil with various Distress inks to get these rainbow shades and splattered some black ink over the white spaces for a "messy" look. To finish off my card, I added some sequins and thread to give more dimension and interest.
