OCC Clean and Simple 4 – Day 2

Hi everyone! 
I’m taking the Online Card Class – Clean and Simple 4 that started last week. I’m busy so I had no time to do my homework every day. For this card, I tried out the technique shown by Kristina Werner (Day 2: Border Gap Die-Cutting & Masking). Here is my card:







I used the cute mice from the Sweet Stamp Shop "Cheese please" stamp set. I did my sponging with Distress inks (Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed and Wild Honey). For the die-cutting, I used circle dies from Spellbinders and a Paper Smooches die from the set called "Dots and dashes". I first tried with a wavy border die but it looked better with a straight border die.
