OCC Stretch your dies – Day 1: Trifold card

Hi everyone!
Today, I want to share my homework for day one of the new Online Card Class – Stretch your dies. I loved Julie Ebersole’s card so I decided to give it a try! Here is my take on this technique: 








I did the background with Distress inks and blending tools. The top of this trifold card is held down by the partially die-cut word "SMILE" from Memory Box.  The banner and sentiment are from a Simon Says Stamp set called "All occasion banners set".
