MFT June Release Countdown Day 3
Hi everyone! Today
is the third day of the My Favorite Things June release countdown. This
release is packed with amazing new products and it was so fun to play with all
the new stuff!
The new products
will officially be available on the MFT online store on June 2nd at 10pm EST (= Europe: June 3rd at 4:00 CET).
Here is my card
showcasing the newest Lace Background stamp and the Abstract
Cover-Up Die-namics:
At first, I heat
embossed the Lace Background with white
embossing powder. Then I added a layer of light teal watercolor. Once it was
dry, I die cut my background with the Abstract
Cover-Up Die-namics and I placed a sticky masking paper on the die cuts to pick
them up (keeping them arranged). I ran this through my die-cutting machine with
a circle die. I applied 3D foam pads to the back
of each piece in the circle and pressed it down to my card base. At last, I
carefully removed the masking paper. To finish off my card, I fixed a sentiment
(heat embossed on black paper) from the Count
the Stars stamp set on a piece of vellum to the card.
