Make it Crafty CAS DT – Over the rainbow
Hi everyone! I’m
back with a card for the Make it Crafty Design Team. Today, I have a
step-by-step to share with you.
There are a lot
of new chipboards at MiC and I decided to show you how to use them in a very
simple way to make them pop against a colorful background.
For my project, I
used the Make it Crafty Over the rainbow chipboard and watercolor paper. First, I tried to find the best way
to place the chipboard on the card. Then I made a rainbow background on the
diagonal using Distress inks with water and I left it air-dry. To make the quote
pop, I colored the chipboard with a black PITT pen from Faber-Castell and I placed
3D foam pads behind it. To finish off the card, I added a strip on the left
edge and a few sequins. Here is the finished project:
Don’t forget our CAS June challenge! It’s all
about masking. You can enter your projects HERE!
Have a wonderful
day…
♥ Francine
