Hi everyone! I'm back with another project I made with some November release stamps from My Favorite Things!
Here is my card showcasing the newest Birdie Brown Merry Christmoose stamp set:
As mentioned in
the blog post title, I used the MIRROR
(OR REVERSE) STAMPING TECHNIQUE for this card. It’s a super fun technique
and great for small images! First, I stamped my hot cocoa cup as usually with Black Hybrid Ink from MFT. To create the mirror
image, I inked up my stamp again (with the same ink). But this time, I stamped
the cup directly onto a blank piece of mounted rubber stamp and then I quickly
transferred the ink from that rubber stamp to my paper. Finally, I used a black
pen to darken the outlines… that’s it! I colored the 2 cups with Copic markers
and fussy cut them. To finish off my card, I fixed everything together with
tape and foam pads and I stamped the "Sending You Warm Hugs" sentiment – also from
the Merry Christmoose set – to the background.
