Hi everyone! I’m so honored to
join the A Blog
Named Hero as a special
guest today. With their 10 days of Christmas card series, they share every day
inspirations from the team and guests.
Here is my card
for today:
For this project,
I wanted to feature the "Merry Christmas Reindeer" stencil from Hero Arts (that
you can get at the Hero Arts store or at Simon Says Stamp). I decided to create a card using
non-traditional Christmas colors. First, I traced the outlines of the deer with a sharp pencil onto a watercolor panel. I then colored the deer shape with
watercolors and inks to create a beautiful
rainbow effect. Next, I heat embossed the "Christmas" sentiment from the Hero
Arts Merry Stamp & Cut set with white embossing powder onto
black cardstock and I fixed it to the panel with 3D foam pads. To finish off my
card, I adhered the watercolored panel to a top-folded
card base and I added three tiny wood stars.
My lovely friend Linda Trace also made a wonderful card that you can see on A Blog Named Hero. I'm so happy that we are featuring our cards together!!! ^_^

Today is the last
day of that celebration. So don’t forget to head over to the ABNH blog and check the latest postings to see all those wonderful
projects.
Have a wonderful
Christmas time…
♥ Francine
