My Favorite Things – Sweet cats

Hi everyone! It’s time for a new Creative Challenge for the My Favorite Things design team! This month it’s all about last-minute gifts for teachers, party hosts or gift exchanges with friends. The MFT team shares ideas for creating 10 minute treats.

Here is my take:

I made these lovely cats with just a few Die-namics (without any stamps). For the base, I cut a Pierced Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics from Kraft cardstock that I folded at 3/4", 2" and 3 ½". I then drew a mouth and mustaches with a black pen and glued googly eyes. I added a decorative border (it could be something like an apron, right?). I used the scalloped border from Blueprints 20, the bow from Blueprints 26 and red gingham paper. The tiny hearts are from the Hip Clips and Garden Spring Die-namics sets. I glued a red chocolate heart inside with tape and attached everything together. A super quick teat and super cute, isn’t it?

Really, really cute. I am thinking what other critters can be made?
