MFT January Release Countdown Day 3
Hi everyone!
Today is the third day of the My Favorite
Things January release
countdown. This release is packed with amazing new products and it was so fun
to play with all the new stuff!
The new products
will officially be available on the MFT online store on January 5 at 10pm EST (= Europe: January 6 at 4:00 CET).
Today, I’m
showcasing the newest Sketched
Blooms set. I’ve made 2 cards using 2
different techniques to end up with a rainbow background.
For the first
card, I used the blending technique and I sponged the background with several
Distress inks to create a rainbow. I kept the front panel black & withe to
make the flowers pop against the bright background. The cloudy border is also
new and from the Stitched Cloud Edges Die-namics set.
For the second
card, I used Color Bursts. For more details about this technique, check the MFT January 2016 PDF release class (coming soon – January 5th).

Both cards are beautiful. Love the rainbow behind the awesome new sketched stamp set and the second card's design and colors are really neat and beautiful.
