MFT January Release Countdown Day 4
Hi everyone!
Today is the second day of the My Favorite
Things January release countdown.
This release is packed with amazing new products and I hope you’ll have fun
with our preview projects!
The new products
will officially be available on the MFT online store on January 5 at 10pm EST (= Europe: January 6 at 4:00 CET).
Today, I’m
showcasing the newest Birdie Brown Ewe Are the Best stamp and Die-namics sets:
I created a
little scene with this amazing Birdie Brown set! I colored the images with
Copic markers and cut them with the coordinating Ewe Are the Best Die-namics. Then I made a background with MFT dye
inks and I used masking tape to create my
own masks. I left one strip straight and I cut a wave in another one with scissors.
Then I blended my inks over the background. For the sky, I chose Blu
Raspberry and Cornflower. For the grass and the hills, I
sponged Limelight, Green Room, Field Day and Jellybean. Next, I fixed my die-cuts to the
scene with 3D
foam pads. I stamped the "Happy
Place" sentiment from the Love You More set with black ink. The tiny heart is from the Hip
Clips Die-namics set. To finish
off my card, I glued the panel onto a top-folded card base. The patterned paper
is from the MFT
Dots & Stripes Fresh paper pack.
