My Favorite Things – March Card Kit Launch

It’s time for the March My Favorite Things card kit launch! The Warm & Fuzzy Friends Card Kit is available right now in the MFT store!

Here is another card I created with this FABULOUS kit: 

First, I made a background sky with Distress inks. I used Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmelade, Fired Brick and Seedless Preserves. I then applied gold texture paste with a palette knife over the Starry Sky Horizontal stencil. I colored the images from the card kit with Copic markers. I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and cut out a speech bubble with scissors. The tiny heart was die cut from Wild Cherry cardstock with the Tag Builder Blueprints 5 die set. Next, I die cut the grass with the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics from Gumdrop Green cardstock. I fixed the hill to the background with runner tape. To finish off my card, I adhered the images and the self-made speech bubble with foam pads to the scene and the panel to a black card base (made with Black Licorice Prestige cardstock).
