My Favorite Things | Camp Create | Day 3

Hi everyone! Welcome to day 3 of the MFT Camp Create summer event! We are so excited to share five crafts with you this week! There are also wonderful prizes to win!!! Yay! I hope you’ll join in and share your creations on the MFT blog.

For the third day of camp, it’s all about watercoloring! I created this card for you:

I used the Delicate Pretty Poppies stamp set to create this watercoloring (similar to no line coloring)! I first stamped the poppy with Spun Sugar Distress ink and the stem with Forest Moss onto Distress ink onto watercolor paper. I then colored the flower with watercolors and added a layer of glitter on top of the poppy (Wink of Stella clear glitter works well for that). Once it was dry, I stamped the sentiment with my Mini Misti and Black Licorice hybrid ink. To finish off my card, I created a card base from Smooth White card stock and adhered patterned paper on top. The patterned paper is from the Rainbow Stripes paper pack. To finish off my card, I fixed the watercolored panel to the card base.

If you want to find out how I did this card, head over to the MFT blog to watch the VIDEO TUTORIAL I’ve made for you!

One random commenter on the video will be eligible to win a $15 voucher from MFT. And anyone who participates in each craft for the five days in session one will be eligible for a grand prize of a $150 voucher. Isn’t that fun??? So head over to the MFT blog for all details on how to participate!

Don’t forget to check my MFT Gallery on Pinterest for more MFT card inspirations!

Thanks for visiting and happy camping!
