Penny Black Simplicity – Portrait

Hello everyone! Here is a card I designed for Penny Black as a Penny Black Simplicity Sister design team member. This time, I decided to feature the brand new Portrait (#40-471) stamp set:

Oh WOW! This stamp is absolutely fabulous and so BIG!!! I stamped the face with a very light ink and drew a new haircut. I colored the girl with Copic markers and added details around the eye and eyebrow with pencils and a black gel pen. I created a background with watercolors, fussy cut the face and glued it on the panel. The sentiment – from the A Sweet Day stamp set (#30-280) – was stamped in black ink. I then adhered the panel onto a top-folded card base. To finish off my card, I added stickles to the iris and Glossy Accents to the lips.

That’s all for me today! Thanks for visiting my blog!
