My Favorite Things – September Card Kit Preview Day 2

Hi everyone! It’s time for the September My Favorite Things card kit preview day 2 (out of the box)! The snowflakes, the color combo with the glitter paper and the word dies are SO beautiful!

Here is what I came up with: 





I first stamped the snowflakes and heat embossed them with white embossing powder. I then sponged the background with Distress inks to create a beautiful rainbow. I splattered the background with water mixed with clear Wink of Stella. I stamped the sentiment in black ink and fussy cut it with scissors. I fixed it to the background with foam pads for more dimension. I added a strip of Silver Sparkle cardstock to the bottom of the card.


The Snowflake Sparkle card kit will be available on September 20 at 10 pm EST (= Europe: September 21 at 4:00 CET) in the MFT boutique.

Such a pretty card, Francine! I love how you created the rainbow of colors behind these gorgeous snowflakes, and your hand cut sentiment is so lovely! Great idea to add a strip of sparkle along the bottom, too!

Very pretty, Francine! I love the uniqueness of the background colors vs the usual Christmas colors plus the addition of splatters of clear Wink of Stella. The tiny silver stars and the silver glitter paper at the bottom of the card enhance it even more.
