MFT October Release Countdown Day 1

Hi everyone! Today is the last day of the My Favorite Things October release countdown. This release is absolutely fabulous! The new products will officially be available on the MFT online store in a few hours!!! Yay!!!

The new products will officially be available on the MFT online store on October 4th at 10:00 pm EST (= Europe: October 5th at 4:00 am CET).

Today, I’m featuring the newest Cause for Celebration Die-namics set:

I first created a blended background using a mask that I created with a die from Blueprints 9. I die cut the shape and used the negative space as a stencil. I sponged several MFT dye inks over the stencil to create this beautiful rainbow of colors. I used Ripe Raspberry, Orange Fizz, Lemon Chiffon, Sour Apple, Sno Cone, Lush Lagoon (for the purple color, it’s a mix of Ripe Raspberry and Lush Lagoon ink). To make a thick chipboard word with the happy die, I die cut it 5 times from white cardstock and I stacked the 5 layers on top of each other with glue. I heat embossed the happy birthday sentiment with white embossing powder on Black Licorice prestige cardstock. I fixed the sentiments to the card base and added enamel dots to finish off my card.

Francine! I love when I look at someone's project and say, "How did she do that?" I find that I ask myself that question many times when it comes to your projects! You are so creative! I love the "template" you created and the colors of ink you chose! The corner placement is so artistic against the white! I am in awe!
Wow, how clever! I have to try that!

Beautiful pattern in such a lovely rainbow of colors, Francine! Once again, you have really inspired me, and I can't wait until the clock strikes 10 so I can place an order :)
