Hi everyone!
Welcome to this week’s MFT Sketch Challenge! Here is what I came up with:
For this card, I
flipped the sketch upside down and I went for an artistic look. First, I made a
top-folded card base from Gravel Gray
cardstock. I then sponged
Sweet Tooth pigment ink over the English
Brick Wall stencil. I die cut the
leaf from the Falling Leaves Die-namics set and heat embossed it with Aged Ivory Enamel Embossing Powder. I also added some powder to the
background. I fixed the leaf with foam pads to the background and put some
thread to give more dimension. To finish off my card, I heat embossed the
sentiment with white embossing powder and fixed some Metallic Gold Sequins.
Here is the
sketch #303 for this week’s challenge:

This is beautiful and so dramatic!
Gorgeous take on the sketch, Francine! I love how you added texture with the gold and white splatters, and the off-white brick pattern looks amazing against gray! Another really stunning card!
Love your work Francine! Your creativity really shines in your projects! I adore your watercoloring as well!! I emailed you awhile back about your MFT Poppy & your watercoloring advice was so helpful! I really appreciated you taking the time to explain your process of watercoloring & all the watercoloring tips! You're amazing! Thank you!!
