MFT December Release Countdown Day 1

Hi everyone! Today is the last day of the My Favorite Things December release countdown. This release is absolutely fabulous! The new products will officially be available on the MFT online store in a few hours!!! Yay!!!

The new products will officially be available on the MFT online store on December 6th at 9:00 pm EST (= Europe: December 7th at 3:00 am CET).

Today, I’m showcasing the Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics set (FREE with $60 purchase in the MFT store while supplies last):

To make the Stitched Sentiments Strips pop, I created a "non-cute" card with (as usual for me) rainbow colors! I stamped a white background panel with the BEAUTIFUL Wavy Coloring Book Background cling stamp using Versamark. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I blended several Distress inks over the panel with blending tools. I made the edges darker than the center. It gives the illustion of light. I then spritzed shimmer over the panel and left it dry (unfortunately, you can’t see the shimmer on this picture). I adhered the bright and colorful panel to a top-folded black card base made from Black Licorice Prestige cardstock. The sentiment is from the Kind Words set. I heat embossed it on the black strip. I die cut the word Kindness from white cardstock. I fixed the sentiments to the background with foam pads for more interest.
