MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #312

Hi everyone! Welcome to this week’s MFT Sketch Challenge! Here is what I came up with:

For this card, I decided to feature the Sweet Sloths set. I extended the branch to fit the sketch. I colored the image with Copic markers and cut it out with scissors. The stars are from the Somebunny I Love set. I colored them with Copics too and added Wink of Stella clean shimmer to make them shine. I created the night sky with Distress inks. I masked the background with masking tape and blended blue ink over it. I then splattered some white paint to make the tiny stars. The sentiment is from the Sweet Sloths set too. I created a speech bubble with a black marker and cut it out with scissors.

Here is the sketch #312 for this week’s challenge:

Fabulous take on the sketch, and I love your starry sky...WOW! When I grow up I want to learn how to color with Copic markers just like you :) Your shading and details are just perfect, Francine! Flawless masking, too! Thanks for inspiring us!

I looked at the set and wasn't that interested, but after your darling card, I love it. Fun stuff and your bg is wonderful!!!
