Penny Black Simplicity – Colorful berries

Hello everyone! I’m back with a project I made for Penny Black. This time, I decided to create a card using the beautiful Nature’s Song creative die (#51-014): 

I first created a background with watercolors. I used my Winsor & Newton watercolors and I chose a paper with texture to give more interest. I die cut the tree from white cardstock and fixed it to the panel with glue. The sentiment is from the Snippets (#30-282) stamp set and I heat embossed it with white embossing powder on a strip of black cardstock. I attached the strip with foam pads for more dimension. To finish off my card, I added Nuvo Crystal Drops pearls on each berry.
