MFT February Release Countdown Day 1
Hi everyone!
Today is the last day of the My Favorite Things February release
countdown. This release is absolutely fabulous! The new products will
officially be available on the MFT online store in a few hours!!! Yay!!!
The new products
will officially be available on the MFT online store on February 7th at 9:00 pm EST (= Europe: February 8th at 3:00 am
CET).
Today, I’m
showcasing the newest Boss Babe sentiment set:
Most of the
supplies I used for this project are linked in the link-up tool at the bottom of this post. I thought that
combining a Polaroid frame with the selfie sentiment was a fun
idea. This is why I created a "selfie picture" with the cute bear from the Friends Furever set. If you don’t have a pola frame,
it’s super easy to make one by yourself as I did. I used the Square STAX die set. I
die cut a square from white cardstock and then used the negative space. I cut
around the hole and that’s it! I just had to glue the colored "bear selfie" behind the frame and there was the finished Polaroid. Next, I stamped the background of a top-folded white card base with a paint brush stroke stamp from the Abstract Art set. I used MFT dye inks: Razzle Berry, Orange
Fizz, Daffodil, Limelight, Blu
Raspberry, Lush Lagoon and Blue Breeze. I fixed the Polaroid on top of the
rainbow background with foam pads. The "Selfie" word was heat embossed with white embossing powder on Black Licorice cardstock.
