MFT February Release Countdown Day 5
Hi everyone! Today
is the first day of the My Favorite Things February release countdown. This release is packed with amazing new
products! You’ll love them!
The new products
will officially be available on the MFT online store on February 7th at 9:00 pm EST (= Europe: February 8th at 3:00 am
CET).
Today, I’m
showcasing the newest Lots of Hugs stamp set:
Most of the
supplies I used for this project are linked in the link-up tool at the bottom of this post. I combined the Lots of Hugs set with the beautiful flower from
the Fancy Flowers set. I created a mask for the word HUGS and stamped the flower over it. I removed the mask and colored the flower. I cut out the "new" image created with the masking technique using precision scissors. I sponged the background of a white top-folded card base using blending tools and Distress inks to create a fabulous rainbow effect. I splattered some water for more
interest. I stamped the sentiment from the Lots of Hugs set in black ink and fixed the flower and HUGS to the
background with foam pads.
