My Favorite Things – February Release Replay

Hi everyone! It’s time for the February My Favorite Things release replay! Today, the MFT design team is taking a fresh look at the most recent release.

My project is a card featuring the newest Uncorked stamp set as well as the Wine Service Die-namics:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked in the link-up tool at the bottom of this post. This set is really unique too. The sentiments are super fun and the font is AWESOME! The Die-namics additions are a must-have and so versatile. I tried to recreate an authentic looking bottle of red wine. I used markers, pencils and a gold gel pen. I did the same with the glass of red wine. I kept the card design clean and simple to make the glass and the bottle stand out. I wanted them to be the focal point of the card. I masked the bottom of a top-folded white card base with masking tape and sponged blue Distress ink over it. That’s it! I stamped the sentiment in black ink and adhered the bottle and the glass with foam pads for more dimension.
