MFT March Release Countdown Day 5
Hi everyone!
Today is the first day of the My Favorite Things March release countdown. This
release is packed with amazing new products! You’ll love them!
The new products
will officially be available on the MFT online store on March 7th at 9:00 pm EST (= Europe: March 8th at 3:00 am
CET).
Today, I’m
showcasing the newest Mesh Background:
Most of the
supplies I used for this project are linked in the link-up tool at the bottom of this post. The Mesh background cling stamp is really a must-have
and it’s worth it. I stamped it in Gravel Gray ink (second generation stamping, stamped twice) on white cardstock. I also used the newest Susi Date set. I so love these little stamps.
They look so realistic. I used several sushi stamps and masking paper to create this sushi plate with
wasabi. I cut the image with precision scissors. The soy sauce is super cute too. I
created a pun sentiment using the Little Letters Die-namics for the word "Maki".
The “Happy Birthday" and "a wish" are from the Celebrate with
Cake stamp set. The Misti was really helpful to stamp the sentiments straight onto the background.
I fixed the mesh pattern on a top-folded card base made from Jellybean Green cardstock.
