Penny Black Simplicity – Dream Big

Hello everyone! I’m back with a project I made for Penny Black. This time, I decided to create a card using the wonderful 51-340 Dream Big creative die set. The font is awesome. Here is what I came up with:

I had so much fun playing with my alcohol inks. I have them for ages and I thought it would be time to use them again. I made a couple of backgrounds and you will definitively see more of them. It’s so relaxing and magical. For this project, I went for teal colors to highlight the white sentiment. The sentiment really pops against the panel. I adhered it with foam pads for more dimension. To finish off my card, I added a few enamel dots. I chose orange to get a nice contrast. The sentiment is part of a set of two dies and is so versatile (and soooo BEAUTIFUL):

Don’t forget to check out the Penny Black Simplicity blog for more inspiration every week!

Thanks for visiting today!

You are such an amazing artist, Francine...everything you create just knocks my socks off!!! What a gorgeous pattern you have created with your alcohol inks...WOW! I love how the shades of teal pop against the bold white sentiment and how your inks mixed and mingled causing organic movement on your background...it's so COOL!!! Thanks for sharing your beautiful art with us!
