My Favorite Things – August Release Replay

Hi everyone! It’s time for the August My Favorite Things release replay! Today, the MFT design team is taking a fresh look at the most recent release.

My project is a card featuring the newest Birdie Brown Fab-BOO-lous Friends stamp set: 

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked in the list at the bottom of this post. I absolutely love these little ghosts. I colored them and fussy cut them with precision scissors. The background was created with the Bold Paisley stencil that I sponged with white pigment ink using a blending tool. Then sentiment (also from the BB set) was heat embossed with white embossing powder. The strips of patterned paper are from the Rainbow Stripes paper pack. I fixed the black sponged panel on a top-folded white card base. I adhered the ghost and the sentiment with foam pads to the card front with foam pads for more dimension.
