MFT September Release Countdown Day 1

Hi everyone! Today is the last day of the My Favorite Things September release countdown. This release is absolutely fabulous! The new products will officially be available on the MFT online store in a few hours!!! Yay!!!

The new products will officially be available on the MFT online store on September 5th at 9:00 pm EST (= Europe: September 6th at 3:00 am CET).

Today, I’m showcasing the newest Double the Smiles die set and the All Smiles stamp set:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked in the list at the bottom of this post. I created a rainbow background using the embossing resist technique. I heat embossed the Wavy Coloring Book stamp with white embossing powder. I then sponged the background with Distress inks. I die cut the panel using the Wonky Stitched Rectangles STAX Die-namics. I decided to use the camouflaging die-cutting technique for the word SMILE. I die cut the panel using the SMILE from the Double the Smiles die set. I then die cut the SMILE a second time from foam. I adhered the rainbow panel with tape to a top-folded card base made from Tropical Teal cardstock. Next, I inlaid the foam SMILE and the rainbow SMILE on top. I stamped the sentiment "Happiness is contagious" in black dye ink onto white cardstock, cut it out to create a label and adhered it on top of the SMILE with foam pads for more dimension.
