Hi everyone!
Today is the third day of the My Favorite Things October release countdown. This release is packed with amazing new
products and it was so fun to play with all the new stuff!
The new products
will officially be available on the MFT online store on October 3rd at 9:00 pm EST (= Europe: October 4th at 3:00 am
CET).
Most of the
supplies I used for this project are linked
in the list at the bottom of this post. I decided to create a winter
scene. First, I sponged the background with blue Distress inks using blending
tools. I die cut the birch trees from the Birch Trees die set and sponged them with brown
Distress inks. I adhered them to the background with glue. I put some texture
paste on the branches to make it look like snow. I added a tiny heart for more
cuteness. I drew the snowy hills using the Drifts & Hills stencil and a pencil. I then cut the edges
with scissors. I fixed the snowy hills with adhesive tape. Next, I stamped the
sentiment onto vellum and adhered it to the background with glue. To finish off
the card, I colored and cut out all images. I added them to the scene using
foam squares for more dimension.
