My Favorite Things | December Release Replay

Hi everyone! It’s time for the December My Favorite Things release replay! Today, the MFT design team is taking a fresh look at the most recent release.

My project is a card featuring the newest Our Town Die-namics:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. I went for a night scene with full moon. I die cut a circle shape from masking paper and adhered it to a white panel. I sponged the panel with Distress inks using blending tools. I then splattered some white ink over the background to create a gorgeous starry night sky. I removed the mask and stamped the "wish big" sentiment from the Handwritten Happiness in black dye ink. I die cut the town border from black cardstock and fixed it to the background using foam tape.  For more interest, I adhered a strip of patterned paper from the Dots & Stripes Neutral paper pack to the bottom of the panel.
