Spellbinders Collaboration | Pink Mushrooms

Hi everyone! I’m thrilled to join Spellbinders for a new collaboration this month! I’ve made two cards using products from their newest collection and today, I want to share the second one! 

For this project, I decided to showcase the Getting All Mushy stamp and coordinating dies set! 

I started by creating the background using the ink smooching technique. I inked a non stick surface with Distress inks, spritzed water and pressed down the watercolor into the surface. I dried the panel using a heat gun and repeated the same process several times until I was happy with the result. Once it was dry, I stamped the sentiment using black ink and a Mini Misti stamping tool. I adhered the panel to a white top-folded card base with foam adhesive for more dimension. Next, I stamped and colored the mushrooms. I cut them out and attached them to the card front with 3D foam pads. To finish off my card, I added a few sequins.
