Kim’s Birthday Bash

Welcome to Kim’s birthday bash. Today, it’s Kim van der Sanden’s (the founder and owner of My Favorite Things) birthday. It’s the big 50 for her and the team thought it would be fun to surprise her with a birthday bash!

50 years, 5 decades, 600 months, 2’609 weeks, 18’263 days, 438’312 hours, 26’298’720 minutes, 1’577’923’200 seconds…  Kim, you’re now half a century young! It’s the age of perfection! Enjoy your day! Happy Birthday and big hugs from Switzerland!

This is the card I’ve made for Kim:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked in the link-up tool at the bottom of this post. For the sunburst background, I used the Radiating Rays stencil that I blended with Distress inks over the card front. The Fiesta Die-namics was die cut from Silver Sparkle cardstock (my favorite sparkle cardstock ever!!!). The sentiment is from the Llama Love set and matches perfectly with the Fiesta die.

Head over to the MFT blog if you want to check out what the other design team members have created for Kim’s birthday!

Thanks for stopping by!

Perfect use of supplies. Thanks for sharing this idea! I sometimes forget to do look outside the idea in my head.
