My Favorite Things July Release | Day 4

Hi everyone! Today is the second day of the My Favorite Things July release countdown. This release is packed with amazing new products and I hope you’ll have fun with our preview projects!

The new products will officially be available on the MFT online store on July 10th at 9:00 pm EST (= Europe: July 11th at 3:00 am CET).

Today, I’m showcasing the newest Saddle up & Celebrate stamp set from Birdie Brown:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. I started by cutting a strip of Post-it tape with scissors and masked the top of a piece of white cardstock panel. I blended the bottom with beige and brown Distress inks and spritzed tiny brown splatters over the area using a Spritzer Tool. I removed the strip and used the other part to mask the bottom. I blended the top of the panel with yellow and orange Distress inks and removed the mask. I die cut the sponged panel using the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. I adhered the circle die-cut to a square top-folded card base as shown. I stamped the images from the Birdie Brown stamp set in black hybrid ink, colored them and cut them with scissors. I adhered them to the card front using foam pads. To finish off the card, I stamped the sentiment to a strip of black cardstock using Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I attached the strip to the card front using foam pads.

Beautiful ink blending, design and Copic coloring, Francine! I love how you used your Spritzer Tool on the ground, too...so striking!

All the coloring is spectacular, and that ground looks real. What a hoot the cow-skin balloon is.
