My Favorite Things July Release | Day 5
Hi everyone! Today is the first day of the My Favorite Things July release countdown. This release is packed with amazing new products! You’ll love them!
The new products will officially be available on the MFT online store on July 10th at 9:00 pm EST (= Europe: July 11th at 3:00 am CET).
Today, I’m showcasing the newest Crown Die-namics with two cards:
Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. I started by creating two white top-folded card bases (same sizes). I then die cut the Crown die from white cardstock and adhered the die-cut with removable adhesive tape to the front of one card base. The crown die-cut worked as a stencil. I blended Distress inks over the crown using blending tools. I went for rainbow colors. Once I was happy with the blending, I removed the crown die-cut. I also removed the adhesive tape on the back and added foam pads. I then adhered the rainbow crown die-cut to the front of the second card base. Next, I stamped a sentiment from the Queen for the Day stamp set on the stenciled one using the Mini Misti stamping tool. I stamped the sentiment for the second card onto Black Licorice cardstock using Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I cut around and adhered the sentiment to the die-cut crown. To finish off the cards, I added sparkle enamel dots as shown.
