Purple Onion Designs | Glowing Flynt

Hi everyone! This month, Purple Onion Designs turns 15 and they invited me to join the anniversary celebration! I’ve made four cards and shared the first last week. Here is the second one:

For this card, I decided to focus on Flynt, the boy fairy! This stamp is from the latest Spread Kindness collection from Stacey Yacula. I started by creating the background. I used a sunburst stencil that I blended with blue Distress inks over a white panel. I then sponged darker inks around to create this glowing in the dark effect. The Have a Magical Birthday is from the Essential Thoughts Sentiment set. I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder. I adhered the panel to a top-folded card base as shown. Next, I colored Flynt, cut him with scissors and adhered him to the background with foam pads for more dimension. To finish off my card, I added three twinkling stars and tiny dots using a white gel pen. I really like how Flynt is glowing in the dark!
