My Favorite Things August Release | Day 1

Hi everyone! Today is the last day of the My Favorite Things August release countdown. This release is absolutely fabulous! The new products will officially be available on the MFT online store in a few hours!!! Yay!!!

The new products will officially be available on the MFT online store on August 7th at 9:00 pm EST (= Europe: August 8th at 3:00 am CET).

Today, I’m showcasing the newest Birdhouse Die-namics:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. I decided to create a top-folded tag using the birdhouse die. I die cut the birdhouse from Natural and Chili Powder cardstock. I stamped the Whmisical Woodgrain Background on the tag Natural cardstock as shown using Chocolate Brown dye ink. The Hello, Gorgeous sentiment is from the Flamazing stamp set. The funny bird… isn’t a bird. It’s a monster from the Monster Sized set. I thought he would look like a bird if I add a beak. So I drew one (I just did a triangle using a black marker) and fixed it below his eyes. And so the monster became a funny bird! LOL

Oh my gosh, how CUTE! I love your whimsical woodgrain pattern and how you created this adorable 'funny bird'! I also love the sweet heart-shaped charm you added to the gingham ribbon, too...such a charming and creative project, Francine!
