MFT & Friends | September 2018 Release

Hi everyone! It’s time for the September My Favorite Things & Friends spot! Today, the MFT design team and special guests are taking a fresh look at the most recent release.

My project is a small DIY gift bag for sweets or chocolate:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. I used the Friendly Raccoons stamp set and the For you sentiment from the Meant to Bee stamp set. The gift bag was created using the Scallop Cross-Stitch Bookmark and die cut from Tickled Pink cardstock. The grassy border is from the Spring Scene Builder Die-namics and was die cut from Sour Apple cardstock. The fence is from the same Die-namics set and was die cut from Kraft cardstock. The tiny heart is from the Tag Builder Blueprints 6 die set and was die cut from Wild Cherry cardstock. The patterned paper is from the Sweet Celebration paper pack.

Here is a mini tutorial on how I created this gift bag. As I said before, I used the Scallop Cross-Stitch Bookmark Die-namics. I die cut it twice from Tickled pink cardstock. I then scored both pieces at 3 1/8 Inches and cut both at 4 9/16 Inches. I adhered both together with glue at the bottom and attached them with ribbon at the top.
