MFT & Friends | October 2018 Release

Hi everyone! It’s time for the October My Favorite Things & Friends spot! Today, the MFT design team and special guests are taking a fresh look at the most recent release.

My project is a card featuring the newest Perfect Poinsettia Die-namics set:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. I used alcohol inks for the poinsettias. I used red and metallic gold alcohol inks with alcohol ink cardstock. I then die cut the poinsettias. To add more interest, I added Nuvo Crystal Drops (white and gold). I splattered some gold mousse mixed with water to the front of a top-folded card base. Once it was dry, I adhered the poinsettias on top of each other and to the card front using foam pads for more dimension. To finish the card, I added Nuvo Crystal Drops to the card base too and a heat embossed Christmas sentiment from the Happy Llamadays.
