MFT December Birthday Project Challenge

Hi everyone! Welcome to this month’s Birthday Project Challenge! This time, the challenge was to create birthday cards with glitter, sequins or metallic accents!

Here is what I came up with:

I created a blended background using Distress Oxides inks and blending tools. I grounded the card using a strip of silver glitter cardstock from the Silver Ritz Glitter paper pack. I then stamped the characters, colored them and cut them using scissors. The bird is from the Birdie Brown Happy Hippos set. I die cut the Cheers Die-namics from with cardstock and added Wink of Stella clear glitter to it. I adhered it to the card front using foam pads for more dimension. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Meant to Bee set. The monkey, the elephant and the music notes are from the Jungle Vibes set.

Head over to the MFT Challenge blog for more details if you’d like to play along and to check out what the other design team members have created!
