My Favorite Things March Release | Day 2

Hi everyone! Today is the fourth day of the My Favorite Things March release countdown. This release is packed with amazing new products! Isn’t it? 

The new products will officially be available on the MFT online store on March 12th at 10:00 am EST (= Europe: March 12th at 4:00 pm CET).

Today, I’m showcasing the newest Anything-but-Basic Encouragement stamp set:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked at the bottom of this post. I started by creating the background. I used Distress inks (don’t ask me which colors… until I was really happy with the result, I went over and over again, using ALL shades of blue LOL) as well as the newest (FABULOUS) Ray of Light stencil. The girl on the swing is from the Sweet Friends stamp set. I cut it with scissors and a craft knife but there is a coordinating die set as well in case you don’t like cutting by hand. I heat embossed the sentiment (from the Anything-but-Basic Encouragement set) using Versamark ink and white embossing powder. The stitched clouds are from the Stitched Cloud Edges Die-namics set. I really like how this card turned out and the power of the sentiment with this design. It looks a bit magical with the rays of light shining through the clouds in the darkness, doesn’t it?
