MFT July Birthday Project Challenge

Hi everyone! Welcome to this month’s Birthday Project Challenge! This month it’s all about birthday bouquets and flowers

Here is what I came up with:

Most of the supplies I used for this project are linked in the link-up tool at the bottom of this post. For this card, I wanted to feature the wonderful Fresh-Cut Flowers Background stamp. I chose the no-line coloring technique and decided to paint the flowers with watercolor. The sentiment is from the newest Sassy Pants Birthday Greetings 2 stamp set. I stamped the birthday sentiment using Extreme Black ink and used the Misti stamping tool for a straight and crisp print. The top-folded card base was made using Neenah Desert Storm cardstock.

Head over to the MFT blog for more details if you’d like to play along and to check out what the other design team members have created!

Beautiful no-line watercoloring, Francine! I think it's the perfect technique for these pretty flowers, and I love your puny sentiment :)
