Whimsy Stamps Collaboration | Beach Sunset

Hi everyone! I’m back with a new collaboration post for Whimsy stamps. 

For today’s spot, I decided to showcase the (OMG) so amazing Build-an-Island die:

I’m SO in love with this die set. The palm tree shapes are simple but with enough details to make them so delicate and wonderful. The surfer and the seagulls are fabulous additions. I created a sunset background using Distress inks and blending tools. I cut a circular shape and used it as a mask for the sun. I sponged several colors (yellow, orange, pink, purple and blue shades) over the card front to get this beautiful blend. The photo doesn’t show it but I fixed the surfer and the palm trees with foam pads for more dimension. I adhered the seagulls with glue. To finish off my card, I stamped the Relax sentiment from the Happy Place stamp set and added some Wink of Stella clear glitter to the seagulls.
