A special card for my breeder

Hi everyone! Today, I have a special card to share with you that I made for my breeder. As many of you know, since one and a half year we have a new family member, a little dog called Max. It’s a continental toy spaniel (also known as butterfly dog because of the ears that look like a butterfly). I shared pictures of him on my Instagram feed and on his IG account too (sweet.little.max).

Laurence, the breeder, as well as all puppy owners (new moms) of the litter became dear friends even if we live far away from each other in France and Switzerland. We are in touch every week since I have Max and we’ve already met all together and left for vacation! We are a little family and this is so fantastic. We wanted to tell Laurence how happy we are to have each other and thank her for our sweeties. We decided to send her a photo frame with pictures of ours babies and cards to let her know that she is special to us.

Of course, as a cardmaker, I decided to create my own card for her. I did a project that shows details of her garden. She not only has many dogs (butterfly dogs and others) but also a cat, hens, bunnies, parakeets, horses and fishes in the ponds. Can you imagine that the cat and all dogs sleep together? That the parakeets live free in the house (and outside!) and that they play with the dogs and the cat? So many animals live together in peace and harmony. This is what I wanted to show on my card (but I couldn’t show everything because the card was already big) and here is what I came up with:

I used stamps and dies from different companies: Lawn Fawn, Mama Elephant, Sunny Studio Stamps, Neat & Tangled, My Favorite Things (inside… but I forgot to take a picture from inside), Papersmooches (sentiment), etc. You can get many of these stamps and dies at Simon Says Stamps.

Here is a collage with some pictures I’ve made when we visited Laurence with Max:

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post! I’ll be back soon with new card inspirations.
